Case Study · Inventory Session
A Family Divided Across Three Countries Finds a Shared Starting Point
The Situation
Three adult siblings — living in Bangkok, London, and Sydney — faced the task of working out which of their late father's belongings mattered to whom, with no prior record and no shared framework for the conversation.
What We Did
The Bangkok-based sibling attended an Heirloom Inventory Session. Together, we catalogued 47 meaningful items, recorded the story behind each, and noted where related paperwork was held. The inventory was formatted for easy sharing with the other siblings.
The Outcome
All three siblings received a copy of the same inventory within a week. For the first time, they had a shared document they could discuss remotely. The Bangkok sibling noted that the structure helped prevent the conversations from becoming emotionally chaotic.

A Couple Uses the Workshop as a Starting Point, Then Joins the Community
The Situation
A couple in their late 60s, both long-term Bangkok residents, knew they wanted to get more organised but found the subject difficult to approach together. Previous attempts at kitchen-table conversations had stalled or turned emotional.
What We Did
They attended the Memory & Belongings Workshop together, which provided a structured neutral space for the conversation. Three months later, they joined the Legacy Stories Membership, which they now attend monthly as part of their routine.
The Outcome
The workshop produced a shared keepsake folder that has since been updated twice. The membership gives them a regular, low-stakes way to continue the conversation without needing to initiate it themselves each time. Both describe the community as unexpectedly sustaining.
